Once famed as one of the world’s oldest centres of civilization, but yemen is now the world’s worst hmanitarian crisis. The country’s natural and archaeological treasures have been largely destroyed by yemen’s brutal civil war. The economic cost of food and each purchase are higher than most yemeni families cannot bear. As food price skyrokect across the country, people cannot afford the food. They need to survive and hunger may ultimately end more lives than fighting. The health care system has completely collapsed triggering out breaks of malnutrition and disease. Clashes have frequently closed the country’s main parts, blocking key imports like food and medicine.

Our primary focus is offering aid that combats hunger and thirst, preferably also in the long run. We mainly focuc on internally displaced people who received our approach that combines a nutritious rich food, some basic need groceroys and cash based assistance for their children education. Our volunteer team is prepared to continue our emergency response in yemen for the long term, until a sustainable peace is reached. The people in yemen need to be protected. They need shelter, access to lean water, health care and education. But we cannot do it without the support ofpeople like you. Only with your help it is possible.
